On August 10, 2001 our lives changed. We lost a daughter, a wife, a sister and our mother to Breast Cancer. A women whose kindness and compassion for others, as well as her strong faith in God's presence within our lives, touched so many people around the world.
During her fight, God gave her the compassion, the will, to be able to be a vessel to help find a cure for this silent disease as long as possible. Throughout her treatment, she kept a brave smile upon her face and was determined to beat it. And not a day went by that she would remind us that there was nothing to fear in death, and that one’s life is worth very little without the love and support of your family. And one’s faith in God.
Lovenia Ann Lee-Cooper embodied the definition of "Saint on Earth". We now carry on her efforts to find a cure through The Silent Majority Breast Cancer Foundation. In her loving memory, and for all who have lost their fight; Our hope is to prevent more and more families, especially children, from having to say goodbye to their loved ones from this disease.
We will find a cure!
